Policy #17: Student Assessment Guidelines

CiiAT ensures meaningful student assessments and evaluations at regular intervals and throughout the academic year.

17.1 Regular Formal Evaluation

  • Transcripts are issued as requested.

17.2 Ongoing Assessment/Evaluation

  • Supervision sessions for all students
  • Assignments, attendance, case studies and reports throughout the school year
    • Assignment grading as tracked on CiiAT’s Learning Management System, Moodle
    • Attendance tracked on CiiAT’s Learning Management System, Moodle
    • Faculty feedback
  • Ongoing reviews by faculty members based on the entry-to-practice competencies in all academic and clinical courses, as outlined by the Canadian Art Therapy Association and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
