Policy #29: Student Support
29.1 Purpose
All courses and programs at CiiAT are led by highly qualified and experienced instructors, who serve as the primary source of information and support for our students. In addition to the faculty and staff committed to delivering exceptional education, CiiAT offers various additional resources to aid students in their academic pursuits.
29.2 Student Support Resources
- This Student Policies and Procedures Manual, containing information on general expectations for attendance, grades, assignments, course descriptions, policies, professional standards of practice, administration, scholarships, and student support services.
- A Clinical Placement (work experience) Guide, including forms, contracts, protocols, study guides, and recordkeeping.
- Moodle 100, on our Learning Management System is an introduction to all pertinent information for students, such as student policies, art supplies list, technical support tutorials, frequently asked questions, faculty and staff contact information, and academic resources.
- Program and Course Orientations, facilitated by CiiAT faculty and staff are scheduled for each cohort in advance of important program components such as beginning the program, starting self-directed courses, and starting clinical placement.
- Individual Student Support is provided to students throughout their academic journey in an effort to ensure students meet all requirements for graduation set by industry and regionally relevant governing bodies.
- Technical Support is provided to CiiAT students experiencing technical difficulties with the Learning Management System, Google Workspace, or Zoom can reach out to our dedicated technical support team for assistance. Support is available via email at [email protected]. Our team is committed to resolving your issues promptly to ensure a seamless learning experience.
