Policy #39: Health and Safety

In the case of any illness, students may not attend any in-person practicum placement or facility with vulnerable clients, such as seniors and those in palliative care. They are required to notify the facility when ill. The Institution recommends that all students in Clinical Placement receive an influenza immunization at the beginning of the annual flu season if the immunization is available to them.
