Cynthia Brown is a professional art therapist, a graduate of the Kutenai Art Therapy Institute (KATI), a member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA) and a facilitator/teacher with a Bachelor of Education.  She is a lover of nature, photography, flowers, art, poetry, dance, song, campfires, gardening, story, reflective writing, creating spaces … and, and…

Cynthia is passionate about developing creativity and fostering imaginative, creative curiosity and an attitude to life as a creative experience.  

The spaces that Cynthia facilitates embrace creative exploration, expression and honouring life’s issues and gifts and finding meaning within life’s experiences. Cynthia works in Circle, with ritual, creating safety and intimacy.

The work that Cynthia offers invites creative engagement and an invitation to a supportive, and compassionate environment that holds the possibility for insight and understanding.  Cynthia offers the therapeutic work of Becoming through the Art of Aging, transforming the narrative of life and nature exploration.

Cynthia and her husband live, work, and play in Cochrane, AB., on the lands of the traditional Treaty 7 Territory of southern Alberta.
