Build a foundation in psychology through a therapeutic arts lens in the Art of Psychology program. This program covers an introduction to psychology and the therapeutic arts, therapeutic arts considerations for human developmental stages and transitions of life, and the benefits of the therapeutic arts for improving mental health and emotional well-being.

This program does not require approval by the  Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training.

Course Length: 28 instructional hours

Maximum Students: 12 per class

Amount of Homework: 4-6 hours


Upon completion of this course the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:

  • Students will be able to identify current psychological and art-based theories and approaches
  • Students will recognize indications of psychological dysregulation
  • Students will demonstrate an awareness of the relationship between therapeutic arts and psychology



Participants must meet a minimum age requirement of 19 years.


We offer Art of Psychology a few times throughout the year. We accept requests for private groups at any time.
