Lindsay Clarke holds her Masters in Art Therapy from Concordia University and is a Registered Art Therapist with the Canadian Art Therapy Association. She is an instructor of the Youth and Children Art Therapy course in Tokyo for JIPATT. In Montreal, she is a supervisor to art therapy students and works with families and children in community settings including women’s shelters, schools, museums, and art hives. She uses a trauma-informed and attachment-based approach in her focused work in supporting women and children as they heal from issues of displacement, violence, and loss.

Lindsay also extends creative healing into the garden and kitchen as she has initiated cooking therapy groups that involve participant grown ingredients, promoting intergenerational support and a grounded sense of engagement for marginalized peoples in transition.
