Kostya Tyoschin is a Russian-Canadian filmmaker. Having grown up in China with a Russian father and Canadian mother, he has been exposed to multiple cultural experiences. This is something that has driven a lot of the creativity in his work and lead to multiple award-winning short films.
After moving to Victoria to study at the University of Victoria, he has turned his focus back to film. In addition to working as the videographer for CiiAT, he has also started his own film studio, Woodenball Studios, for his freelance work. With an acceptance to Vancouver Film School for August 2021, Kostya is excitedly working hard to create innovative content for CiiAT and continue his freelance and narrative work produced through Woodenball Studios.
