Dawn is a Registered Art Therapist and a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Counselling and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Art Therapy. Her expertise is centered around eating disorders, mental health crisis and assessment, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and various anxiety disorders.
Dawn was first drawn to art therapy when, at a mask-making intensive, she was struck by the power of the art object to inform the maker. Dawn loves making art with simple materials: from paper and pencil for life drawings to cardboard for giant sculptures.
