Alison Baxendale

Alison Baxendale, BFA, BCATR is the Senior Art Therapist, Intake Manager, Practicum Supervisor, and Program Coordinator at the Trent Street Therapeutic Studios, Victoria Mental Health Center. Group and individual facilitation of the “Open Studio”and “Artist in Residence” Art Therapy programs for adults with addictions and mental health issues aims to facilitate participants’ self-expression and self-discovery through the use of a variety of art educational and therapeutic art interventions. Her Intake role consists of reviewing potential client case files, conducting interviews and assessing perspective participants for program readiness. Alison liaises with other mental health professionals regarding client readiness, ongoing support, crisis management, and general progress.
