Live-on-Line
Take a glimpse into one of our live-on-line classes!
Call it E-learning,
Distance Learning,
Learning from home,
Learning on the road…
We just call it
Live-on-Line.
Most of our classes are Live-on-line, which means to say they are taught over the Internet using live-camera teleconferencing software. You can take the majority of your courses from anywhere in the world with a modern computer and a good Internet connection. As a result CiiAT has students from all around the world, from many varied cultures and backgrounds. This not only allows greater access to this material, but a richness for all attending students since the backgrounds of each student add to the experience for the other students.

Cultural Immersion
The Cultural Immersion Clinical Art Therapy Diploma program is an exciting, travel -training opportunity designed to immerse students in the arts and culture of our host sister schools. CATA and AATA registered art therapists, teach core coursework in Bangkok, Thailand, Tokyo, Japan and Victoria, Canada. Students choose which sister campus they would like to attend, based on the courses offered and the time of year they would like to travel. Intensive modules are offered three times yearly in each country, creating flexible options for students to bring their families for travel adventures.
The Cultural Immersion programs are designed with attention to the the cultural values of the host countries. They are taught in English with translation into Japanese and Thai simultaneously, by another art therapist. Learning for all students and faculty comes alive with the cultural complexities of multiple languages, histories, aesthetic backgrounds and faiths.
